I wound up here after reading your log regarding the omnivorous blackberry vines at Pisgah while finding the ABC's of Fear cache there.

Great adventure here and it reminds me of when I took my boy (The Bean Himself) on a hike up Pisgah in a snow storm, almost a whiteout on the way up. He was 4 at the time and while at the peak the clouds broke into a glorious sunshine preceding the sunset. The clouds hanging heavy with rain, the snow covered ground and a group of young people that had an acoustic guitar and were singing added to the wonder of the moment. My son broke the spell when he threw tantrum because he didn't want to leave when the time came, but that is part of parenthood I guess. Thanks for the memories and the wonderful photos....and for taking time to locate and brave the ABC cache.

My favorite hummus flavoring: pesto, garnished with shredded parmesan. The great thing about hummus is its versatility!
